Do I need a wiring harness?
Yes, an 84mm VDO throttle body uses a different connector than your factory unit, so you'll need a harness adapter. We offer our own plug-and-play harness in addition to this adapter plate.

Is the methanol port required to use?
No, the integrated meth port is a convenience for WMI setups. If you're not running water/meth injection, it can simply be capped with the included 1/8" NPT plug.

Which throttle body should I use with this adapter?
It's designed to mate an 84mm VDO throttle body, such as our own Luft-Strom or our OEM VDO unit, to your stock EA837 supercharger.

A Word on Being Called a "Cheap Copy"

This adapter costs less than most of the proprietary throttle body kits it replaces, and every so often that gets read as "cheap must mean cheaply made." It's the opposite: we built this specifically because the market was charging Audi-Tax pricing for a piece of billet aluminum with a hole through it. Pricing it fairly isn't the same as cutting corners on it.
