Why does the factory plastic housing fail?
After thousands of heat cycles and constant exposure to corrosive antifreeze, the factory plastic turns brittle, cracks, and warps - eventually dumping coolant and risking overheating or catastrophic engine failure.

Should I get the full kit or the billet-only housing?
The full kit includes a Rein thermostat, OE gaskets, all hardware, and new bolts. The billet-only housing includes everything except the thermostat, for owners who already have a good thermostat or want to source their own.

Is this a direct bolt-on?
Yes, it comes pre-assembled and installs in place of the factory plastic housing with no modification required.

Will this fit my Audi?
This housing fits the Gen 2 (CREC) 3.0T supercharged platform - check the Vehicle Fitment table above. If your Audi uses the earlier Gen 1 (non-CREC) 3.0T, you'll need a different housing.

Is this legal in California?
