Our race porting service is a comprehensive overhaul of your blower's internal geometry, taken further than our street port to extract maximum airflow.

1. Disassembly & Inspection: Upon arrival at our facility, your supercharger is fully stripped down, and the factory oil is drained.

2. Aggressive Precision Porting: Arthur at AKMSpeed re-profiles the inlet and outlet ports of the R1320 case with a more aggressive race-spec port job, optimizing airflow paths beyond our standard street port.

3. Decontamination: The case undergoes a thorough cleaning process to remove all metal shavings and debris from the porting stage.

4. Fluid Service: The unit is reassembled and refilled with premium-grade supercharger oil.

5. Optional Maintenance: We offer a full bearing rebuild at an additional cost for customers looking to refresh high-mileage units during the porting process.

Race porting takes the same AKMSpeed process further, with a more aggressive port profile aimed at maximum airflow. It's built for cars running supporting fuel and tuning upgrades to take advantage of the extra capacity.

Do I need a special tune for a race-ported supercharger?
We recommend confirming with your tuner before installing, especially if you're also running an aggressive pulley — the added airflow is best supported by a tune (and fueling) that accounts for it.

Will this work with my current pulley?
Yes — this service raises your boost ceiling and pairs well with our TruDrive crank pulley for owners chasing maximum output.

What's the difference between the Custom and Factory options?
Factory keeps the stock housing finish; Custom is available for buyers who want a different housing appearance after porting.
