What's included in this Audi Gen 2 CREC under supercharger kit?
A billet aluminum thermostat assembly, Graf metal water pump, OEM Hengst PCV valve, Elring upper and lower intake manifold gaskets, the PCV-to-supercharger adapter pipe, and an Elring injector seal kit. Full part numbers are listed above. Gen 2 CREC cars don't use the plastic heater pipe found on Gen 1 cars, so it isn't included here.

How do I know if I have the Gen 2 CREC engine and not Gen 1?
CREC is the engine code for the redesigned 3.0T supercharged V6 used in 2015-2018 A8, and 2016-2018 A6, A7, and Q7. If your Audi is a 2009-2015 B8, B8.5, or early C7, you have a Gen 1 EA837 engine and need our Gen 1 kit instead. Check your engine code on the block or email us your VIN and we'll confirm before you order.

Do I need to replace every part in the kit, or just the one that failed?
Once the supercharger is off the car, the labor to remove and reinstall it is the expensive part, not the parts themselves. Replacing the whole valley now means you won't be paying for that labor twice.

Are these OEM parts or aftermarket?
Both. This kit mixes genuine OEM hardware with trusted OE-supplier brands (Graf, Hengst, Elring) and a Vorsprung-engineered billet aluminum thermostat housing in place of the factory plastic piece that tends to crack. From time to time we may need to substitute gaskets for another OE equivalent due to supplier shortages, but we will never substitute hard parts.
